Biography

Jennifer L. LaFountaine joined Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP, in 2011. She practices primarily in the area of workers’ compensation defense. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. LaFountaine practiced workers’ compensation defense at another Atlanta area law firm. Before that, she previously practiced workers’ compensation defense in Florida as well as previously served as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida.

Ms. LaFountaine received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia and J.D. from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2003, and the State Bar of Georgia in 2003.

Ms. LaFountaine is a member of the State Bar of Georgia Workers’ Compensation Section, Young Lawyer’s Division, American Bar Association and Cobb County Bar Association.
