Biography
Blake Staten joined Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP, in 2010. He practices primarily in the area of workers’ compensation defense.
Mr. Staten earned his J.D., cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law in 2010. While in law school, he competed nationally as a member of the Student Trial Lawyers Association and was awarded second place honors at the 2008 National Trial Advocacy Competition.
Prior to law school, Mr. Staten attended the University of Georgia, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2006 with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Psychology. As an undergraduate, he was inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Mr. Staten has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 2010.
